Senior React Native Developer

We are currently hiring a Mid to Senior Level React Native Developer to join our engineering team to develop mobile applications targeting the automotive sector. In this role, you will collaborate with other team members to deliver functional & user-friendly mobile applications within established timelines.

Job Duties:

• Partner with internal business partners/end users to determine and/or assist with software solutions to achieve greater efficiency in their business.
• Investigate technical software problems and coordinate resolution with internal partners or vendors.
• Track, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve issues when they arise, escalating, as necessary.
• Design, code, test, debug, document, and implement changes to new or existing React Native mobile applications, web applications, and integration points.
• Support both front-end development and integration work
• Provide technical feasibility estimates and input into the initial development of business solutions, project objectives, high-level planning, cost justifications, or current system problem resolutions.
• Perform quality testing and assure the delivery of a successful product.
• Provide ongoing input into the establishment and refinement of QA best practices process.
• Document company/user data needs, interfaces, and applications
• Maintain effective working relationship between end-users and IT.
• Work alongside designers to build and deliver smooth UI experiences.
• Deploy and maintain the apps on App Store
• Distribute apps to QA/UAT teams and assist in user acceptance testing.
• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, and at least 3 years of experience building user facing features with a modern component-based system such as React.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, MBA major plus.
• Proficiency with React Native, React, and Typescript. Familiarity with Swift, and Java/Kotlin is a plus.
• Familiarity with native build tools, like Xcode, Android Studio.
• Experience with Fabric, Hermes, JavaScript Core and Native Modules is a plus.
• Experience with provisioning profiles, and certificates in both Android and Apple’s ecosystem is a plus.
• Familiarity with accessibility best practices.
• Experience of working with REST APIs and GraphQL.
